A report from en.tj.gov.cn May 15th, 2026:

The 2026 World Intelligence Expo will be held in Tianjin from May 28 to 31, bringing together cutting-edge AI technologies, interactive experiences and industry cooperation.

This year's expo will feature exhibitions, competitions, business matchmaking and immersive activities aimed at promoting AI innovation, industrial applications and global collaboration.

One major highlight is the expo's comprehensive display of the entire AI industrial chain, covering chips, computing power, large AI models and operating systems, as well as robots, intelligent connected vehicles and deep-sea equipment. Applications in healthcare, smart homes and other everyday situations will also be showcased. Tianjin's strengths in AI and information technology innovation will be highlighted.

The expo will also spotlight emerging technologies and real-world applications. More than 100 new achievements in intelligent manufacturing, low-altitude economy, AI education and smart devices are expected to be revealed. Visitors will be able to witness advanced quadruped robots, unmanned aerial vehicles and deep-sea robotic equipment already being used in rescue operations, manufacturing, retail and urban management.

Interactive experiences will include a robot fair featuring over 260 robots, autonomous driving demonstrations, drone performances and eVTOL displays. Elements of traditional Tianjin culture, including folk drumming, crosstalk and martial arts, will also be integrated into robot performances.

Organizers say the expo will focus on turning technological innovation into practical industrial cooperation, helping companies accelerate commercialization and market expansion in the fast-growing AI sector.
