2026 World Intelligence Expo Opens in Tianjin

The 2026 World Intelligence Expo opened on May 28 in Tianjin, attracting global industry leaders, technology experts and scholars to discuss the latest developments and future trends in intelligent industries.

This year's expo features exhibitions, competitions, business matchmaking events and interactive experiences aimed at promoting innovation and cooperation in smart industries.

The exhibition covers a record 130,000 square meters and includes one comprehensive exhibition zone along with six themed pavilions focusing on artificial intelligence, embodied intelligence, intelligent connected vehicles, low-altitude economy and commercial aerospace, intelligent manufacturing, and smart living.

More than 740 companies and organizations are taking part in the event, including leading State-owned enterprises, major technology firms and emerging innovators.

The expo also hosts a variety of competitions. Classic events such as the RoboCup Asia-Pacific Tianjin International Invitational and the International Intelligent Sports Congress have returned, while new competitions including the Intelligent Innovation Hackathon have been introduced to promote innovation and practical application of new technologies.

The expo runs through May 31. It is open to professional visitors on May 28 and 29 and to the general public on May 30 and 31.
