Vitesco Technologies’ EMR4 to Be Mass-produced in TEDA

On July 8, Vitesco Technologies launched the new-generation highly integrated line for electric axle drive system (EMR4) globally. Compared with EMR3, EMR4 is low-cost, energy-saving and light. In the future, EMR4 will be mass-produced in Vitesco Technologies Tianjin Plant in TEDA.

Established in TEDA in 1995, Vitesco Technologies Tianjin Plant is the biggest supplier of auto parts. In March 2021, the second production line of highly integrated line for electric axle drive system (EMR3) and the first production line of Power Module were put into use. In September 2020, the new R&D Center of Vitesco Technologies started constructing. The Center will be Tianjin’s new height of technology and talent in new energy vehicles.
