2025 International Forum (TEDA) on Chinese Automotive Industry Development to Open in Sep.
On June 6th, the press conference for the 2025 International Forum (TEDA) on Chinese Automotive Industry Development was held in Beijing. At the conference, An Tiecheng, Chairman of China Automotive Technology & Research Center Co., Ltd. (CATARC), introduced this year’s forum theme – Injecting Momentum to Seek New Development and Go Global. The forum is scheduled to take place in TEDA, Tianjin, from September 18th to 21st, 2025.
This year’s TEDA Automotive Forum will maintain its positioning as a high-level think tank forum, featuring 18 conferences with distinct themes and rich content, while making innovations in four areas. Firstly, it will further optimize the organization structure, collaborating with industry organizations and leading enterprises in the energy and artificial intelligence to jointly promote cross-industry integration and innovation. Secondly, it will fulfill the mission of the think-tank forum by increasing the release of think-tank reports, enhancing the quality of content, and optimizing the output of think-tank achievements. Thirdly, it will create a more efficient and convenient communication platform for policymakers and industry leaders. Fourthly, it will thoroughly perceive the trends of cutting-edge technologies, explore the high-end and global development models of the automotive industry, and accelerate the layout of technology and industrialization.
The press conference was also attended by industry leaders and heads of related departments who delivered speeches. The speakers include Zhao Lijin, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Society of Automotive Engineers and Vice President of the CSAE Automotive Innovation and Strategy Institute; He Yi, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers; Xie Rongbin, President of China Automotive News; Sun Qijun, Director of the TEDA Steering Office of Investment Promotion; Xu Yanhua, Secretary-General of the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance; and Wang Zhenpo, Secretary-General of the National Big Data Alliance of New Energy Vehicles.
