Multiple Projects Signed! Bumper Harvest from the 2025 Tianjin International Shipping Industry Expo

On June 12th, the signing ceremony for key projects of the 3rd Tianjin International Shipping Industry Expo was held at the National Convention & Exhibition Center (Tianjin). With a combined investment of over 40 billion yuan, there were a total of 70 projects signed and implemented in Tianjin. Among them, several key projects from TEDA were signed on stage, covering fields such as marine equipment, port trade, and green fuels. These projects will further promote the high-quality development of TEDA’s high-end equipment and chemical new materials industries.

The Nangang Bohua Phase II Project, which was signed during the ceremony, is being invested in and constructed by Tianjin Bohai Chemical Nangang Terminal Warehousing Co., Ltd. With an investment of 1.237 billion yuan, the project includes a 50,000-ton liquefied hydrocarbon berth, a 50,000-ton liquid chemical berth, and a 49,000-cubic-meter low-temperature liquid ammonia storage tank，along with the corresponding ship unloading pipelines, the BOG (boil-off gas) treatment and re-heating systems. It is scheduled to put into operation in 2027. The China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Northern Bunker Fuel Energy Base project will serve as the CNPC Fuel Oil Company’s fuel bunkering center for foreign trade ship, North China marine fuel resource hub, and Northern ship fuel energy base. It will undertake the business of supplying bonded marine fuel oil, bio-marine fuel, bonded LNG, green methanol, and other fuels for ocean-going vessels in the northern region for CNPC Fuel Oil Company. As a subsidiary company invested by Xiang Ya International Limited in TEDA, Tianjin Fanyi Supply Chain Service Co., Ltd.will diversify the trade ecosystem of Tianjin Port and enhance the region’s capacity of commodity resources allocation.
