TEDA Shares Its 10-year Experience on EIU’s Theme Activity
On June 19th, the Shanghai Economist Intelligence Corporate Network (EICN) organized an activity themed as “From the East to the World -- Global Rise of Chinese Enterprises”. As a collaborative member of EICN, TEDA Steering Office of Investment Promotion was invited to participate. Attendees also include representatives from TEDA Free Trade Authority, as well as main leaders of over 80 foreign enterprises such as Adidas, Amazon, Lanxess, HPE, Deloitte, Kuehne & Nagel, 3M, Parker Hannifin, Samsung, and Schindler.
During the “Connecting Domestic Ecosystem with International Growth” theme session, TEDA shared its regional development, experiences in helping enterprise go global, and facilitation measures for cross-border investment and financing under the pilot free trade zone policy framework. TEDA also had in-depth discussions with representatives from Lanxess, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Zhonglun Law Firm, Avery Dennison, and TELUS Digital over topics such as feature policies of China (Tianjin) Pilot Free Trade Zone. Enterprise representatives expressed interest in more substantial cooperation with TEDA in the future to achieve mutual benefit.

As a collaborative member of the group, TEDA Steering Office of Investment Promotion not only participates in member activities, but also compiles and translates the group’s thinktank reports for TEDA’s investment promotion team. In 2025, the two sides further deepened their cooperation. TEDA Steering Office of Investment Promotion invited EICN’s experts to provide themed training program for TEDA’s investment promotion team and fully utilized EICN’s platform to showcase the latest development of TEDA, continuously enhancing the region’s international influence.
