Leading Smart Technology Enterprises from Greater Bay Area and TEDA Hold Closed-Door Meeting in Shenzhen

SHENZHEN, July 10 – A closed-door meeting for leading smart technology enterprises from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) was successfully held on July 10th in Futian District of Shenzhen. Organized by the TEDA Administrative Commission and coordinated by the TEDA Greater Bay Area Industrial Collaboration Center, the event aimed at establishing an efficient and precise platform for government-enterprise communication and deepening industrial synergy between the two regions in the smart technology sector. Jin Xianghua, Vice Chairman of the TEDA Administrative Commission, attended the event and delivered a speech. A delegation from TEDA, composed of representatives from the TEDA Steering Office of Investment Promotion, the Advanced Manufacturing Industries Promotion Bureau, the Tianjin TEDA State-owned Capital Investment and Operation Co., Ltd., and the Tianjin TEDA Industrial Development Group Co., Ltd., held in-depth discussions with more than 20 leading smart technology companies from Shenzhen.

Jin Xianghua stated that after more than 40 years of development, TEDA has built a robust industrial foundation and is striving to become a smart technology industrial hub in Northern China, backed by a strong supply chain and a pool of high-end talent. She noted that Shenzhen represents the forefront of innovation and creation in China, and is home to many leading enterprises in the smart technology field. She expressed her hope for cooperation in regional industrial and supply chains to develop more application scenarios and achieve complementary advantages and synergistic development between the two regions.

During the meeting, TEDA highlighted several specific cooperation scenarios, including the digitalization of industrial parks, smart apartment operations, co-development of intelligent computing centers, the establishment of an automotive chip standards alliance, and the full-scale opening of intelligent connected vehicle ecosystems. The delegation provided a detailed overview of the current state of TEDA's smart technology industry, with a particular focus on its unique industrial chain advantages in sectors such as automobiles and integrated circuits.

Representatives from the attending companies spoke about their development strategies, core technologies, and specific needs for collaboration with Tianjin. They also had discussions with the TEDA delegation and expressed strong interest in future cooperation.

TEDA granted a plaque to ZONEBOND (Shenzhen) Digital Information Service Co., Ltd., recognizing it as a partner of the TEDA Greater Bay Area Industrial Collaboration Center.

Moving forward, TEDA will further open its resources to innovative enterprises in Shenzhen and extend targeted invitations to high-quality smart technology companies from the Greater Bay Area seeking to establish a presence in Northern China to visit TEDA. Leveraging the collaboration center, TEDA will work with its resident enterprises and Greater Bay Area partners to explore new trends in smart technology industry development and chart new pathways for cooperation.
