Nangang Industrial Zone and Its Investors at the “Olympics Games” of Global Chemical Industry

On July 14, 2025, TEDA’s Nangang Industrial Zone attended the 12th World Congress of Chemical Engineering(WCCE 12) & 21st Asia Pacific Confederation of Chemical Engineering Congress International Chemical Engineering Innovation Expo 2025 together with five investors from the Zone including Shanghai Ausell Material Technology and Tianjin Passion Advanced Material Technology. At the event, they joined hands with global chemical leaders to plan for a better future of the industry.

The WCCE is known as the “Olympic Games” of the world chemical industry and this year marks the first time for the event to be held in China. It invited more than 20,000 professionals from over 60 countries and regions. During the congress, the booth of Nangang Industrial Zone was highlighted by a galaxy of industry front runners, covering manufacturers of modified materials, producers of molecular sieve nano-catalytic materials, suppliers of emulsified asphalt, and service providers for the automation and cleaning of semiconductor production lines. Among them, Tianjin KDD Technology showcased its innovative products such as vertical pipeline cleaning robots and self-developed ultrasonic cleaning equipment. Shanghai Ausell Material displayed its latest achievements and products of high-quality low-carbon PC, ABS, PP, PA, PMMA and other PCR plastics, attracting many industry peers and partners. 

As a professional chemical park developed by TEDA, Nangang Industrial Zone is the main carrier for Tianjin’s petrochemical industry. It is committed to building a world-class green new chemical materials base. At present, it has gathered many well-known domestic and international giants such as Sinopec, PetroChina, CNOOC, CNCEC, Ineos, Shell, BP, Huntsman, Nippon Paint, and Nouryon.
