National Supercomputer Center in Tianjin on a National List Once More

Recently, the list of Innovation China 2022 was released, and the Tianhe Explicit Dynamics Numerical Simulation Software of the National Supercomputer Center in Tianjin was successfully selected as a piece of pioneering technology. This universal CAE software was developed by the National Supercomputer Center in Tianjin, in collaboration with the National University of Defense Technology and Xinchuang Haihe Laboratory, and has been deployed to the Tianhe new generation supercomputer. The software is on par with international standards in terms of functionality, simulation accuracy, computational performance and material library. It supports simulation calculation of complex scenarios, which can be applied in various key fields such as aerospace, marine engineering, mining and disposal of hazardous chemicals.

The list of Innovation China was established by the Chinese Association for Science and Technology (CAST), including seven types of lists. Among them, the list of pioneering technologies consist of six major directions namely electronic information, biomedicine, equipment manufacturing, advanced materials, green low-carbon and industrial foundation. Supporting the integration of technology innovation and serving the development of technological economy is the vane of technology innovation-driven high-quality development.
