TEDA Sees Over 4,900 Valid Invention Patents

In 2022, TEDA has made every effort to promote intellectual property protection, thus achieving remarkable results. So far, more than 400 new invention patents have been authorized this year, and more than 4,900 valid invention patents have been authorized accumulatively. In the 23rd China Patent Award, a galaxy of projects from TEDA-based enterprises won awards, among which the invention patent of CanSino won the gold prize. This is the first time that the enterprise in Binhai New Area has won the highest award in China’s intellectual property field.

TEDA has accelerated the implementation of the direct pledge financing model of intellectual property rights, assisted enterprises to participate in the issuance of intellectual property asset securitization products, and fueled up the growth of enterprises. In December 2021, the Intellectual Property Services Cluster Park was put into use, gathering 13 industrial institutions such as patent agency, trademark agency, law, and asset appraisal. The role of the intellectual property services platform was initially revealed.
