Tianjin TEDA Comprehensive Bonded Zone Passes Acceptance Check

On December 4th, Tianjin TEDA Comprehensive Bonded Zone passed the acceptance of the joint acceptance team, being one of the three comprehensive bonded zones in Tianjin.

Located in TEDA East, Tianjin TEDA Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the former Tianjin Export Processing Zone, covers a planned area of 1.06 square kilometers. In December 2019, the State Council approved the integration and optimization of Tianjin Export Processing Zone into Tianjin TEDA Comprehensive Bonded Zone. So far, the main businesses there are furniture manufacturing, bonded maintenance, logistics and others. In the first ten months of this year, the value of imports and exports was 1.108 billion yuan, going up by 26.7 percent year-on-year.

Comprehensive Bonded Zone is a special area supervised by customs with the highest degree of openness, the most favorable policies and the most comprehensive functions in China. After the acceptance, based on the advantages of the Comprehensive Bonded Zone and the Pilot Free Trade Zone, TEDA will promote the assembling development of bonded maintenance, R&D and design, cross-border e-commerce, service outsourcing and financial leasing, among others, and further promote the upgrade and high-quality development of regional industry.
