TEDA Sees Establishment of TEDA Tao Life Science Fund

Recently, Tianjin TEDA Tao Science Venture Capital Partnership (Limited Partnership) was officially established in TEDA. The fund was jointly launched by the Tianjin TEDA Industrial Investment Guidance Fund, Tianjin TEDA Industry Investment & Technological Innovation Equity Investment Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership), and Tao Capital, a renowned domestic biomedical investment institution.With an initial size of 100 million yuan and a duration of seven years, the fund will primarily focus on cutting-edge sectors such as innovative pharmaceuticals, high-end medical devices, in vitro diagnostics, digital healthcare, and innovative medical services. It aims to identify and invest in innovative enterprises with core key technologies at their early or growth stages.

Currently, the fund has established a high-quality project reserve pool, with six key projects already in reserve, covering areas such as high-end medical devices, innovative drugs, and medical artificial intelligence. Additionally, it has successfully facilitated the registration and establishment of the first enterprise it invested.
