TEDA FAW-Volkswagen Tianjin Craftsman College Recognized as National-Level Site for Development

Recently, the TEDA FAW-Volkswagen Tianjin Craftsman College was designated as a 2025 national-level craftsman college. To date, TEDA has been home to one national-level craftsman college, two at the Tianjin municipal level, and three at the Binhai New Area level. Leveraging these colleges, TEDA has cumulatively provided training for over 5,600 individuals.

The FAW-Volkswagen Tianjin Craftsman College is dedicated to be an ideal destination for cultivating highly-skilled talents. With 30 modern technology laboratories and skills training bases, and 469 types of fixed training aids and facilities, the college can simultaneously support practical training and teaching activities for 600 people. It offers 98 online courses, organizes over 100 online and offline training sessions annually. As a result, it has cumulatively trained more than 2,600 individuals, covering 13 specialized technical trades.

TEDA is actively advancing the development of enterprise craftsman colleges. Through resource integration and brand building, it continues to expand the scope and enhance the educational impact of these colleges. Going forward, TEDA will strengthen the development of high-skilled talent training bases with comprehensive service capabilities, so as to build a high-skilled talent system covering the entire industrial chain. Meanwhile, we will focus on the needs of strategic emerging industries by actively promoting the innovative development of industry-education integration models, optimizing the entire policy environment encompassing talent cultivation, evaluation, and incentives.
