TEDA Signs MOU with UAE China Innovation Center
TEDA held the High-Quality Middle East Outreach & China Innovation Center (CIC) in UAE Promotion Conference on the afternoon of July 3rd. During the event, TEDA Administrative Commission signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the CIC in UAE. Nearly 30 TEDA enterprises attended the conference.
According to the MOU, both parties will jointly promote exchanges and cooperation between enterprises and institutions in multiple fields, including industry, economy and trade, technology, research and development, and innovation. The aim is to achieve connectivity of advantageous resources between Tianjin and Dubai, fully advancing high-level opening-up and creating a model of high-quality cooperation between China and the UAE. During the conference, TEDA enterprises—ICBC Leasing, Century Healthcare, Coresense, and Lonyu Robot—gave impressive presentations. Many company representatives engaged in heated discussions with CIC experts on topics such as aviation leasing, biomedicine, smart agriculture, and industrial robotics.
The China Innovation Center (CIC) in UAE was initiated and supported by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce (DCCI). It is the first platform in the Middle East dedicated to showcasing innovative technologies and services for Chinese enterprises. The center aims to promote cooperation in technology, economy and trade, and industry and finance between China and the UAE. It helps Chinese innovative enterprises expand their global business while attracting Middle Eastern enterprises and capital to China. Established in 1965, the Dubai Chamber is the only government chamber of commerce in Dubai. With over 400,000 member enterprises, it is the largest chamber of commerce in the Middle East.
