Nestle Steps up Investment in TEDA

Global food giant Nestle announced on March 31st a capital increase of 230 million yuan in TEDA for two phases of dry pet food and wet canned pet food production lines, following the 730-million-yuan capital increment last year. So far, the new investment of Nestle in Tianjin in recent two years has exceeded 1 billion yuan, reflecting the company’s firm confidence in the Chinese market.

Vitesco Technologies Tianjin’s 2 New Production Lines Put into Use

Two new production lines of Vitesco Technologies Tianjin Plant was put into use quite recently, further uplifting local product portfolio, technological competitiveness and production capacity. Specifically, the two production lines include the plant’s second highly integrated line for electric axle drive system (EMR3), and its first-ever mass-produced Power Module line in China.

TEDA’s Food Giant Saw 67.6-bln Revenue in 2020

According to its newly-released earnings announcement, Master Kong’s 2020 revenue grew by 9.10% y-o-y to 67.618 billion yuan, among which revenue from instant noodles was 29.510 billion yuan (a y-o-y growth of 16.64%) and that from drinks 37.280 billion yuan (up 4.72% y-o-y).

Alliance Drew 12 Enterprises to TEDA

Tianjin Internet & New Economy Talent Alliance for Innovation & Entrepreneurship was founded in TEDA in late 2020. After the Alliance’s founding, 12 Internet enterprises including Tencent Skylark, Yi Dui Operation Management Center and Genetron Internet Hospital signed agreements and settled down in TEDA. These enterprises are creating over 4,000 jobs, with registered capital of 300 million yuan.

LinkDoc Got Strategic Investment from AliHealth

LinkDoc Technology, an enterprise from TEDA, won strategic investment from AliHealth. The two sides will jointly build a whole disease cycle service platform for tumor patients in China, explore actively online innovative service model for cancer drug, and build an online-plus-offline service system for cancer care.

AR Small Giant Set up Investment Company in TEDA

WiMi Hologram Cloud, Inc., a leading holographic AR platform in China, established Tianjin Zhongzheng Daohe Investment Co., Ltd. in TEDA, with registered capital of 30 million USD. In one or two years, WiMi Hologram Cloud will invest in more than 100 holographic enterprises through the company to create a business ecosystem of holographic technology application.

Throne (Tianjin) Logistics Co., Ltd. got new land covering 102,377.9 square meters in TEDA. It is expected to build a green intelligent logistics park here to optimize and upgrade next-generation AI industry in TEDA and achieve high-quality development of regional logistics.
