TEDA Welcomes New Investment by Vitesco


TEDA inked an investment agreement with Vitesco Technologies for a new project for NEV intelligent manufacturing and automotive electronic products. With the new project, Vitesco aims to strengthen its presence in TEDA by introducing new products such as silicon carbide power modules, 800V motor stators and rotors, EMR3 three-in-one axle drive systems, high-voltage inverters, battery control units, and gearbox controllers.

Novo Nordisk Invests 4 Billion Yuan for its Sterile Preparation Expansion Project in TEDA


Novo Nordisk (China) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. laid the foundation for its fill & finish expansion project in TEDA. The project is expected to have an investment of approximately 4 billion yuan and the construction is scheduled to be completed by 2027. It will utilize the world’s most advanced isolator technology to provide a higher level of sterile assurance for pharmaceutical production. This marks another important milestone in Novo Nordisk’s investment in Tianjin.

SRIPE Oilfield Chemicals Commercialization Center (Tianjin) Begins Construction


The Sinopec Research Institute of Petroleum Engineering Oilfield Chemicals Commercialization Center (Tianjin) project officially started construction in Nangang Industrial Zone of TEDA. The first phase of the project involves an investment of 359 million yuan, primarily focusing on establishing a scientific research platform for oilfield chemicals, a quality testing platform, a small scale experiment zone for research achievements, and a pilot scale experiment & commercialization zone for polymerization and liquid synthesis. The goal is to create a research and commercialization base for high-end oilfield chemicals.

Beijing and Tianjin Collaborate to Build Electronic Chemical Base in Nangang


At the 2024 Work Conference of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Industrial Coordination Special Working Group, TEDA’s Nangang Industrial Zone was designated as the Beijing-Tianjin Electronic Chemical Base. The Base, planned to cover an area of 1 square kilometer, will focus on developing an industrial cluster of electronic chemical integrating R&D, production, logistics and storage. It aims to evolve into a comprehensive electronic chemicals supporting service base rooted in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and serve the development of the integrated circuit industry in northern China.

Tianjin Aisin Advances Electric Transformation in TEDA


The 20th anniversary celebration ceremony of Tianjin Aisin Automatic Transmission Co., Ltd. was held recently in TEDA. Since its establishment in TEDA in 2004, Tianjin Aisin has continuously increased its investment and in 2023 broke new ground by initiating a NEV reducer project. In 2024, the project entered trial production with new products successfully rolling off the assembly line, and is expected to be officially put into operation by the end of this year. Tianjin Aisin Automatic Transmission Co., Ltd. was jointly established by the Fortune Global 500 company Aisin Corporation of Japan and FAW Equity Investment (Tianjin) Co., Ltd.

An Auto Parts Project Goes into Production in TEDA


The auto parts project of Zonglian Metal was officially put into operation in TEDA Industrial Park. With a total investment of approximately 120 million yuan, it mainly engages in the processing of metal materials, mold development, and production of stamped and welded parts. The products of the new project will be widely applied in auto dampers, car body structures, chassis, and collision avoidance systems. The company’s customers include secondary suppliers to OEMs such as FAW-Volkswagen, FAW Toyota, Great Wall Motor, etc.

A TEDA Enterprise Certified for Digitized Inhalation Therapy


The respiratory function data monitoring and analysis software independently developed by a TEDA-based enterprise Orange Family Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. has been approved for Class II Registration Certificate for Medical Device of the People’s Republic of China. This is the first domestic data analysis software in the inhalation therapy management field. It provides AI-assisted innovative solutions for precise treatment of chronic respiratory system diseases as well as prevention of acute exacerbation and intelligent patient management.

2024 China Auto Import and Export Forum Held in TEDA


The 2024 China Auto Import and Export Forum was successfully held in TEDA. Over 800 guests from governments, foreign embassies in China, OEMs, automobile industry associations and dealership groups from home and abroad, used car dealers, and automotive certification organizations gathered to discuss the pain points and hot topics in the current landscape of Chinese automobile exports. The forum aimed to facilitate in-depth discussions to assist domestic automotive companies in better positioning themselves in overseas markets. During the forum, the 2024 China Auto Import and Export Industry Development Report and the China Auto Export International Marketing Service Platform, Vehilink, were officially released.
