TEDA Hosts Training Workshop to Empower Precision Investment Promotion

To accurately grasp global economic trends and industrial opportunities, while forging a high-quality, professional investment promotion team, TEDA Steering Office of Investment Promotion organized a specialized training workshop on July 2 in TEDA. Dr. Xiao Yuchao, Director of the Economist Intelligence Corporate Network in Beijing, was invited as the keynote speaker. Investment promotion professionals from various departments of TEDA Administrative Commission and affiliated enterprises attended the training, alongside the head of the TEDA International Chamber of Commerce and senior executives from member companies.

During the session, Dr. Xiao provided an in-depth analysis of the evolving global geopolitical and economic landscape, alongside the strategic adjustments of multinational corporations in China, and examined the challenges and opportunities for investment promotion. He noted that, under the current circumstances, a stronger presence in the Chinese market remains a critical strategic choice for multinationals to maintain global competitiveness. Looking toward at the "15th Five-Year Plan", he offered insightful interpretations of national industrial layouts, providing guidance for regional development, and recommended investment promotion personnel to leverage Tianjin's industrial strengths and resource endowments to effectively secure high-quality projects, thereby transforming opportunities into developmental momentum. 

During the interactive session, TEDA investment promotion officers actively raised questions regarding challenges and bottlenecks encountered in their frontline work. Dr. Xiao provided professional insights by drawing on think-tank research and typical case studies. Meanwhile, participating entrepreneurs also engaged in in-depth on-site exchanges with the TEDA investment promotion team and the keynote speaker.

Serving as a key initiative for TEDA to further develop its investment promotion workforce, this training has broadened the global horizons and expertise of the personnel, laying a solid foundation for precision investment promotion. Looking ahead, TEDA will continue to strengthen its team to create new models in investment promotion in a more efficient way. We will attract more premium industrial projects and inject robust momentum into the region's high-quality development.
