TEDA "AI + Manufacturing" Industry Alliance Established

Recently, the TEDA "AI + Manufacturing" Industry Empowerment Conference was convened, bringing together representatives from over 150 AI and manufacturing enterprises, research institutes, and universities. At the conference, the TEDA "AI + Manufacturing" Industry Alliance was officially inaugurated, and the first batch of 21 vice-chair unit members were awarded plaques.

Following the establishment of the TEDA "AI + Manufacturing" Industry Alliance, it will integrate various entities such as car manufacturing, high-end robotic equipment, computing power supply, industrial digital service providers, research platforms, and low-carbon service agencies. The alliance focuses on building a collaborative platform that integrates technological breakthroughs, benchmark creation, scenario demonstration, supply-demand matching, and talent cultivation and attraction. "The alliance has unlocked end-to-end supply capabilities across the industrial chain, holding tremendous value for resolving industry-wide common challenges and forming a complete industrial chain value," said Zheng Wei, General Manager of Automation at Tianjin Jinya Electronics Co., Ltd.

As a national demonstration base for new industrialization, TEDA boasts four advanced manufacturing clusters with an annual output value exceeding RMB 630 billion, providing abundant scenario resources for artificial intelligence. Since the 14th Five-Year Plan period, TEDA has cumulatively supported over 200 enterprises in carrying out digital transformation, fostered 73 smart factories at or above the municipal level, and seen its work in the digital transformation of manufacturing selected as a national-level typical case by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. With the establishment of the alliance, TEDA will further pool innovation resources, optimize the industrial ecosystem, and drive the high-quality development of the artificial intelligence industry.
