Nova-MS Biotech Lands in Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park, Boosting TEDA’s Precision Diagnostics Sector

Tianjin Nova-MS Biotech Co., Ltd. has officially landed in the TEDA Binhai-Zhongguancun Collaborative Innovation Demonstration Base. Leveraging the innovation ecosystem of a similar environment to Zhongguancun, the company focuses on the R&D, translation and technical services of mass spectrometry detection technology.

Nova-MS Biotech specializes in in-vitro diagnostics based on mass spectrometry. Centered on liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry, it has built platforms for metabolomics, proteomics and data analysis, with a primary focus on blood biomarker detection for brain health. Adopting non-invasive peripheral blood sampling, the reagent enables simultaneous quantification of multiple core biomarkers recommended by international clinical guidelines.Compared with PET imaging and cerebrospinal fluid puncture projects, this approach significantly lowers the screening threshold and makes it possible to integrate brain health screening into routine physical examinations.

Nova-MS Biotech chose Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park for its well-established collaborative industrial chain featuring “R&D in Beijing, translation in Tianjin.” Instead of relocating an entire laboratory to the park, the company positions itself as a technology translation hub. It undertakes R&D translation of mass spectrometry reagents, sample testing services and business expansion across northern China, accelerating the deployment of its parent company’s proven technological platform within the collaborative innovation network.

Following the landing, Nova-MS Biotech will connect clinical resources, healthcare and wellness scenarios and industrial support across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It will enforce rigorous standards across reagent development, sample testing, data management and clinical translation, filling a key gap in the industrial chain covering precision diagnostics, high-end testing and commercialization of research outcomes of the Park.
